Summer Summer Summer

It’s been a little while since I posted and I am hoping to keep up a habit of making blog entries on here to keep people’s interest.

I found out recently that my brother and his fiancee are pregnant! I am super excited and want to start making baby clothes right away. For that matter, I’ve already started, and I’ll post pictures of some of the pieces as I go.

Summer is shaping up to be extremely busy! I have to make a piece for a gallery show I have with my fellow graduates in July, bulk up my craft stock for ConBravo! and any other fairs I can manage to get into, find a job, and move in August.

I’ve renewed my activity on Instagram, and I would appreciate it if you followed me on there at EllaCatticus, where I will be posting pictures as often as I can.

Accidentally Neglected this Blog

Hello everyone,

I’m sorry for not blogging. School got to me. It’s a good thing, because it means I’m doing homework and passing everything, but as a result I’ve neglected my social networking, business-wise.

As you can see from the blog layout and title, a few changes have happened (if you’re viewing this entry on your dash, I suggest checking out the actual blog to see what I mean).

My business is (for now) Unseelie Studio instead of Scandalous Designs. SD is taken by a company in Texas, and while there is no legal reason stopping me from using SD (us being in two different countries and all), it would cause brand confusion for both of us, and no one likes brand confusion. I may change the name once more before settling, but I really like Unseelie Studio, so we’ll go with that for now.

My Store Envy and Facebook Page have both changed to reflect this decision. I would change the URL for my deviantART, but I do not have a subscription with them, and therefore cannot change it. I did change the page title, however.

In regards to my craftwork, I have lots of stuff on the go and finished, some of it photographed. Once I get a little more time I will post my in-process work for my Final Gallery Piece plus other finished work.

Oh no! Someone has already taken Scandalous Designs as a name! This is no good!

My Final Year of College Starts Tomorrow!

Well, my first class is actually Wednesday, but I’ve got lots to do on Tuesday anyway!

Just A Wee Update

I’ve been spending a lot of the month of August out of town, trying to catch up on all my summer visiting before I have to knuckle-down and get to work in September. I hope I can have at least more prototypes to show you folks by the end of the month.

I went to the Windsor Pride Festival this year, mostly because I didn’t know they had one until this year (and it’s been going for twenty). I’m originally from the area, so it was nice to find it. It was a really great time, though I forgot my camera at the house I was staying at so I didn’t get any good pictures of the Sunday when it was packed. The venue was pretty small but everyone was really nice and the young people of the crowd all seemed to be folks I could get along with (not to mention were all wearing awesome clothes).

The Lady Gaga Tribute Artist. She had some pretty cool moves, and the “Gaga Swag”, as I have dubbed it.

I’m currently in London visiting friends. I have a family reunion, more visiting, and projects to do before school starts again. One more year, then I’ll have to get A Real Job /daunting.
